In parallel to your full-time study, you have the possibility to work part-time at Flex as a co-op or working student. Within the week you are spending a certain time at Flex (usually between 8 and 20 hours) while the rest of the week you are spending at the university. In most cases the working hours can be very flexible as your availability also depends on the timetable of your university.

As a working student, you usually support different projects and collaborate with Flex experts to learn more about how to design and build intelligent products to compete in an international environment.

At Flex Germany we are mainly offering internships for students in the field of Engineering, but also for students of other disciplines (e.g., Finance, HRM, Quality, IT). Usually, the internships are required by the examination regulations of your university, but we also offer students to do a voluntary internship.

The start and the duration of the internship depends on your study and examination regulations, your availability and the capacity of the respective department and the projects at Flex. Most of the internships last between 3 and 6 months and are performed full-time. This allows you to gain deep insights into the daily business at Flex.

Writing a Master's or Bachelor's thesis at Flex gives you the opportunity to work on a practical project and to develop solutions for real-life challenges while being supported by our Flex technical experts. This model allows you to gain experiences in an international company and to work in expert teams.

Usually, you are working part-time at Flex to work on the practical part of your thesis (approx. 15-25 hours per week). The remaining time during the week you would spend in the library or at home to do literature research and to write your thesis. The allocation of the time working at Flex and at home depends on your availability and the design of the thesis.

Each year during the summer season Flex Germany offers Holiday Jobs in various departments. This summer holiday jobs are typically full-time and can last between 2 and 10 weeks.
