You will employed by BASF Agricultural Solutions Italy S.r.l.
- Managing EHS Specialist and RSPP responsabilities for BASF small sites in Italy, ensuring compliance with Italian Health & Safety legislation and internal EHS standards.
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the EHS management system, including BASF Responsible Care requirements, procedures, and governance.
- Promote a strong safety culture across Italian sites through EHS campaigns, training initiatives, Safety Days, and Behavior-Based Safety programs.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure the timely implementation of required actions related to health, safety, environment, process safety, and security.
- Coordinate risk assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions, emergency preparedness activities, and site safety reviews.
- Support environmental compliance activities, including emissions, water, waste management, supplier audits, and environmental assessments.
- Functionally coordinate EHS representatives across sites, organize follow-up meetings, monitor action plans, and support management reviews.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external service providers, contractors, authorities, and regional EHS teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Degree in EHS, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field, with relevant experience in an industrial environment.
- 3–5 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment roles, preferably within manufacturing, chemical, or industrial sites.
- Solid knowledge of Italian Health & Safety legislation, including D.Lgs. 81/08, and familiarity with RSPP responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of EHS management systems, risk prevention, process safety, environmental protection, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in risk assessments, incident investigations, safety procedures, emergency management, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to promote safety culture through training, communication campaigns, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive, autonomous, and rigorous working style, with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt messages to different audiences.
- Residence in Bologna or the surrounding area is required.
- Regular travel to the assigned sites: Lugo (RA), Fasano (BR), Colognola ai Colli (BI), Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), and Ascoli Satriano (FG) is an essential requirement of the role.
- CCNL (National Chemical Collective Agreement).
- Indicative gross annual salary (RAL) between €50,000 and €55,000, to be assessed based on the candidate’s skills and relevant experience.
