Spinning Line Operator Lead

Job Description:

We’re looking for experienced and motivated Operator Leads to join our production site in Germany and take on a shift lead role. In this position, you will combine hands - on machine operation with technical oversight and team coordination during your shift. You will play a key role in ensuring stable production, quality standards, and safe working practices. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background in mechanics who wants to take the next step beyond pure operational responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machinery on the fibre spinning line s during assigned shifts
• Act as shift lead, coordinating daily activities and supporting operators on your shift
• Ensure smooth and stable operation of the production process
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve basic mechanical or process - related issues
• Perform and oversee quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Ensure safety guidelines, procedures, and housekeeping standards are followed
• Support onboarding and on - the - job guidance of less experienced operators
• Communicate shift handovers, incidents, and performance topics to production or engineering teams
• Act as the first point of contact on the shop floor during your shift

Key Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training/apprenticeship in mechanics, mechatronics, plant operations or a comparable technical field
• At least 1 year of experience operating machinery in an industrial or production environment
• Solid technical understanding of mechanical systems and machine operation
• Willingness to take responsibility and guide others during shift work
• Availability to work in rotating shifts (including nights and weekends)
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing hands - on tasks
• Communication skills in German to coordinate within the team (no formal language certification required) , Basic communication in English is a big plus.
