As a Relief Foreman, you create chemistry by...

• Providing relief for the shift supervisor position to maintain seamless operations.
• Supporting site plasticizer production through troubleshooting, optimization, and supervision.
• Assisting with capital project start-ups and supporting operational readiness.
• Driving process improvement trials to achieve specific operational objectives.
• Conducting training for operators on compliance and new procedures.
• Supporting training follow-up in the field to ensure ongoing competency.
• Acting as backup for the lab coordinator and operations coordinator.
• Collaborating with the operations manager and coordinator to conduct production trials and review procedures.
• Engaging daily with operators, maintenance, and lab teams to foster a collaborative work environment.

If you...

• Bring knowledge of chemical processes and strong technical troubleshooting skills.
• Have previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Hold post-secondary education relevant to the field.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate.
• Understand BASF’s Ecology, Health and Safety Standards, as well as applicable codes and regulations.
• Can support optimization projects through data analysis and field testing.
• Can interact effectively with various internal teams and support capital project workloads.
• Are comfortable working outdoors, climbing ladders, lifting, and navigating stairs, demonstrating the physical ability and readiness to take on hands-on tasks in a dynamic environment.
