As a Senior Maintenance Planner, you create chemistry by...

  • Using your strong skills in planning, estimating, procurement, material control/expediting, inventory management, vendor/contractor coordination, and project execution, you will be accountable for planning and estimating work orders for maintenance work.
  • Leveraging your proficiency with SAP and MS Office, you will compile and update information on work orders, work history, costs, and actual work performed.
  • Successfully engaging across the business, you will coordinate maintenance and production schedules and ensure prompt and timely service for all customers.
  • By applying your prior work experience in a plant maintenance environment, you will identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the execution of maintenance plans, including materials used, man hours, sequence of activities, and support services.
  • Reviewing backlogs, managing unplanned work orders, generating job plans (labor, material, equipment, services), and creating job packages for field execution.
  • Continually improving job plans via updates based on feedback for the maintenance department.
  • Utilizing SAP status codes, including work order start and finish dates, to allow proper scheduling.
  • Evaluating the need for spare parts, creating purchase requisitions, monitoring KPIs, setting up storeroom items, assigning those items to bill of materials, and evaluating BOM.
  • Relieving maintenance supervisors when they are out of the office.

If you...

  • Have a 2 or 4 year technical degree in a relevant program.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Possess computer skills including email, SAP, MS Office Excel and Word.
  • Have proven experience procuring and expediting materials and resources.
  • Hold internal and external interaction, functional guidance, and leadership experience.
  • Have the ability to deal effectively with the unknown and unexpected; handle non-routine and emergency activities such as schedule breakers, plant shutdowns, start-up, etc.
  • Possess excellent organizational and work management skills.
  • Have keen attention to detail and a high degree of quality orientation.
  • Have strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Have experience with a union-represented workforce (a plus).
  • Have calciner maintenance experience (a plus).
