GENERAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

EHS and Information protection:

Compliance and Code of Conduct:

  • Actively represent BASF Group interests and act as a role model with regards to Compliance and Code of conduct, ensure adherence to legal regulations and the company’s internal guidelines as well CORE values and principles.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Actively represent BASF’s interests.
  • Set an example and actively promote BASF’s corporate values and principles, maintaining the company’s image.
  • Contribute to BASF’s long-term competitiveness.
  • Adhere to BASF Group’s Compliance program.
  • Follow occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and fire protection regulations of Kazakhstan and BASF.
  • Comply with legislation regulating BASF’s activities, as well as internal company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the operation and improvement of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with Transportation and Distribution Safety (TDS) procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Trade Control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Vendor Master Data (VMD) procedures.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Participate in implementing the AgroSolution supply chain strategy in line with distribution policy, market entry strategy, business priorities, and corporate/group procedures.
  • Provide systematic and effective support to AgroSolution sales organization in client relations, and in developing and maintaining cooperation with distributors and end users.
  • Participate in the implementation of agreed new concepts and tools.
  • Ensure integration and close cooperation of AS with other company divisions (national and international) in the interests of BASF.
  • Control compliance of contract volumes with final deliveries within the area of responsibility.
  • Handle client orders: create and process sales orders, prepare waybills based on FIFO and FEFO principles, create invoices, and transfer documents.
  • Timely provide clients with shipping documents.
  • Monitor receivables and incoming payments, work with credit management, and control clients’ financial data.
  • Prepare reconciliation statements to monitor overall financial indicators/sales results.
  • Efficiently and promptly handle client claims.
  • Process orders: create purchase orders (PO) for suppliers.
  • Support the technical team by providing demo samples and managing sample inventory.
  • Control warehouse stocks and participate in regular inventory counts.
  • Manage product batches.
  • Organize logistics within the country and abroad.
  • Ensure timely information flow for S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning).
  • Manage import operations for finished products and BASF AIS group, as well as third-party companies, to ensure the most efficient supply schemes and optimal delivery times.
  • Ensure timely receipt of annual import licenses for each product.
  • Fully manage customs clearance of goods in accordance with supplier and AS trade organization deadlines.
  • Ensure timely receipt of mandatory certificates of conformity for product import.
  • Manage new projects from the supply chain side.
  • Participate in selection and management of suitable logistics service providers together with the procurement department and supply chain manager.
  • Verify product data and systematically update labels and safety data sheets.
  • Ensure effective emergency response channels for product incidents and compliance with BASF’s internal requirements for transporting hazardous goods by local transport.
  • Handle logistics and claims related to import operations.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an international company.
  • Higher education.
  • Advanced PC user; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • English language proficiency at upper-intermediate level; Kazakh is a plus.
  • Experience in customer service/supply chain.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel/databases.
  • Experience with SAP.
