In BASF, unser Finance Order-to-Cash (F-O2C) Team ist essenziell für die Effizienz und Zuverlässigkeit im Finanzmanagement unserer Operationen in Amerika. Vom HUB Montevideo aus decken wir Prozesse vom Verkauf bis zur Kundenbezahlung ab und sind verantwortlich für Schlüsselbereiche wie Treasury und Cash Management, Debitorenbuchhaltung, Inkassomanagement, Kreditmanagement, Intercompany-Abstimmung und Stammdaten für Kunden und Lieferanten. Unser Ziel ist es, robuste und agile Prozesse zu erhalten, finanzielle und operationelle Risiken zu minimieren und kontinuierliche Innovation durch Digitalisierung und Automatisierung von Aufgaben zu fördern.

Main Objective of the Position:

To execute collection activities and reconcile accounts for third-party customers and/or regions with low complexity in a timely manner, while continuously seeking improvements in these processes.

Main Tasks:

• Reach out to customers through various communication channels (e.g., emails, calls, WhatsApp) and provide updated account statements to low-complexity customers and the responsible sales teams.
• Supply necessary information to the Accounts Receivable team to ensure proper application of received payments and maintain updated customer information in the Collection tool (Get Paid).
• Address discrepancies reported by customers related to billing by coordinating with the respective teams.
• Participate in ad hoc meetings with clients and business teams.
• Adhere to processes outlined in the established guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
• Engage in small projects with the support of the designated focal person.
• Be responsible for monitoring KPIs such as Overdue and DSO for the assigned portfolio of low complexity businesses, providing explanations upon request.

Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:

• Education | Student or bachelor’s degree in International Business, Communication, or related fields.
• Work Experience | 1 to 3 years in customer service role
• Languages | Advanced proficiency in English, both oral and written. Portuguese valued.
• Technical Skills | Basic proficiency in Excel ; knowledge of SAP is valued.
• Soft Skills | Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and basic problem-solving skills.
