  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales approach to achieve revenue targets and increase market share. This includes setting sales targets, establishing sales territories, and identifying new market opportunities. Work with distributors and customers for long-term successful relationships. This business has assertive growth targets.
  • Leading a high-performing sales team by setting clear goals, providing coaching and mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This involves recruiting, training, and motivating sales professionals to achieve their full potential. Driving consistency and accountability across the US sales organization to develop a team known for its professionalism and effectiveness that drives growth through commercial excellence, digitalization, and sustainability. Approximate size of organization includes 5 direct reports and 150 indirect reports.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and other stakeholders. This includes understanding customer needs, addressing concerns, and providing solutions that meet their business objectives.
  • Collaborating with the market research team and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for growth. This involves staying updated on industry developments and adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Developing accurate sales forecasts and regularly reporting on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities. This includes analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborating with marketing, product development, and other internal teams to align sales strategies with product offerings, pricing, and promotional activities. This involves providing input into product development plans and ensuring effective communication and coordination across departments.
  • Managing the sales budget, including allocating resources effectively and monitoring expenses. This involves identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing sales operations to maximize profitability. Manage financials including P&L statements, expense control, forecasting, sales budgeting, etc.
  • Driving continuous improvement in sales processes and personnel development. Actively engage the employee population to keep their engagement high and to stay in touch with key issues that will enable highest possible

If you...

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree
  • Bring 15 years of commercial or business experience
  • Have 10 years of sales and management experience
  • Have working knowledge in strategic account management and CRM tools
  • Have proven ability to grow sales while developing long-lasting customer relationships
  • Can commit to 5+ years in role to provide longevity and continuity with customer relationships
