Acting as the local contact person for automation and digitization (A&D), overseeing the controlling, executing, and coordinating of area-specific projects in collaborating with the EVR digitization team.
Serving as the local interfacing to specialist departments in automation and digitization, initiating and shaping new projects and initiatives.
Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database architectures that are supporting the organization’s applications and business processes.
Developing and optimizing database queries, storing procedures, and functioning to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
Collaborating with application developers for integrating database solutions into software applications such as MES, ensuring seamless data flow and accessing.
Monitoring/optimizing database performance, and troubleshooting/resolving database-related issues, conducting regular health checks and performance tuning as necessary.
Ensuring data security and integrity by implementing and maintaining appropriate access controls and backup strategies.
Analyzing and modeling data requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications and database structures.
Managing and configuring individual digital application cases, such as creating customized dashboards and reporting.
Coordinating external service providers in project implementation and tasks.

If you...
Have a bachelor’s degree in Automation Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Possess proven experience as an Automation Engineer, Database Developer, Database Architect, or in a similar role.
Demonstrate strong expertise in database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
Have proficiency in SQL and experience with data modelling.
Are familiar with programming languages such as Python or C# (a plus).
Hold a solid understanding of database security, backup, and recovery strategies.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of digitization possibilities and a strong affinity for OT/IT.
Have experience in low-code programming.
Have a strong analytical thinking ability and a goal- and results-oriented work style.
