WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • As part of the global team engaging with project and plant owners, licensors, and EPC’s in EMEA providing Adsorbent Solutions including technical consulting and technical design proposals for gas purification.
  • Providing input on performance warranty offers and technical value proposition to support pricing proposal in alignment with Global Marketing and Sales.
  • Providing customer consultation and on-site support (i.e. start-up consulting, troubleshooting). Managing product quality issues within the non-conformance management system.
  • Attending and presenting at conferences, seminars, and licensor forums for business development and market/competitive intelligence.
  • Building opportunity pipeline in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing by effectively delivering the value proposition on our high-performance portfolio offerings. Drive new product launches, support technical publications and provide technical trainings externally and internally.
  • Understanding customer and market needs while identifying the optimal product/technology solution. Providing market/customer driven ideas and projects for incremental innovations.
  • Working with technical team to improve design tools and align with global segment strategy.
  • Interfacing with other business divisions of BASF as needed to provide complete solutions to customers.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry / chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of technical experience in a role focused on oil and gas processing. 2+ years of experience within a customer facing role is preferred.
  • Experience in process engineering or process design incl. preparing technical proposals using simulation tools (e.g. Aspen HYSYS).
  • Strong analytical skill as well as professional written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably an additional relevant language.
  • Experience in working as part of a global team and knowledge in adsorption or catalysis is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel ~35% predominantly within EMEA
