Specialist Device and Data Security (m/f/d)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide hands-on support to the team in security engineering activities.
• Implement and manage endpoint security solutions, including EDR and antivirus technologies.
• Automate tasks to enhance security processes and improve reporting efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in IT security principles and practices. Equivalent experience in BASF cyber-security roles such as cyber-security champion, risk observer, or officer of automation security is also considered valuable.
• Strong analytical skills to accurately identify issues, develop viable solutions, and present them effectively.
• Agile mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation in a dynamic technological environment.
• Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of German or Spanish is advantageous.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or PowerShell and AI APIs is considered an asset.
