As a Sr. Scientist II - Consumer Safety, you create chemistry by...
Working with consumer safety active substance experts, registration managers, marketing, biology, technical services and formulations colleagues to develop, plan and monitor crop residue field trials under good laboratory practices (GLP) to meet requirements of regulatory authorities for registration of plant protection products. Such studies include measurement of the magnitude of residue and metabolites in raw agricultural commodities and process fractions, and rotational crop residues.
Working closely with external research organizations to contract regulatory science studies needed for registrations and act as the study monitor to ensure protocols and guidelines are followed, and quality data and final GLP study reports are produced to meet project timelines.
Working closely with sample preparation and sample analytics colleagues to assure samples from residue field trials are shipped, processed and analyzed to meet project goals and timelines.
Working closely with colleagues from Seeds and Traits to ensure residue field trials involving regulated material are compliant with all company and authority regulations.
Participating as a member of the global competence center for residue field work, where strategies and global alignment are discussed.
Developing innovative approaches to address regulatory challenges and timeline constraints.
