At BASF, our Finance Order-to-Cash (F-O2C) team is essential to ensuring efficiency and reliability in the financial management of our operations in the Americas. From our Hub in Montevideo, we cover the processes from the moment of sale to the moment of customer payment, and we are responsible for key areas such as treasury and cash management, accounts receivable, collections management, credit management, intercompany reconciliation, and master data for customers and suppliers. Our goal is to maintain strong and agile processes, minimize financial and operational risks, and promote continuous innovation through the digitalization and automation of tasks.
Executes the accounting of processes related to the accounts receivable chapter in accordance with the established SLA, with a critical look at the process in search of improvements.
- Processing and control of core tasks (cash application, customer refunds, prolongation according with Guidelines)
- Perform closing tasks
- Resolution of ad hoc requests related to customer accounts
- Point of contact with other accounting areas
- Participate in and perform tasks related to medium-sized projects.
- Participate in the analysis, preparation and recording of external audits, internal controls and implementation of changes to improve process efficiency.
- Participate in the preparation, completion and analysis of year-end footnotes and analytics.
- Education | Advanced student or graduate of Accountant or Business Administration, Finance or similar
- Work Experience | 3 to 5 years of professional experience in accounting duties, finance areas, or similar roles.
- Languages | Advanced level of English, mainly in writing skills.
- Technical Skills | Solid proficiency in Excel is required. Experience with SAP is valued.
