Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the MENILE Marketing Strategy & plans in line with the overall business objectives & KPIs through effective Portfolio Development & Crop Strategies.
  • Drive the Portfolio Planning, analysis and life-cycle management decisions based on identification of gaps and new opportunities to contribute to the growth of the business.
  • Lead the implementation of 3rd party opportunities on local level and regional level.
  • Drive systematic Value Positioning of our products and offerings in the market.
  • Actively manage the bridging strategies within portfolio (articles, rationalization, harmonization, phase-outs…) based on regulatory inputs, supply chain efficiencies and crop system updates.
  • Close collaboration and alignment with Crop System Team to ensure proper GTM approach strategy rollout & deployment, opportunities and growth drivers are adopted.
  • Ensure that all product technical information is embedded and deployed within the value chain across various customer segments, Farmers, Retailers, Key Accounts, and distributors.

Business & Growth plans

  • Lead the 3 Year growth Plans and annual operational plan to drive sustainable growth through building a solid LCM and innovation for our portfolio.
  • Full ownership & development of effective Product price positioning strategies & pricing to drive business profitability & market share growth.
  • Build and drive long & Short-term forecasting and planning for all countries in the region.
  • Support developing country budget (sales, costs, KPIs).
  • Maintain Cost transparency for marketing related selling cost.
  • Support forecast accuracy and develop strategies together with sales to bridge any sales gaps and needed support to meet business objectives and targets.
  • Ongoing development and implementation of CRM strategy, database build-up and the successful execution of CRM campaigns that support the Sales Objectives.

Sustainability & Digitalization

  • Oversee the development & deployment of AP Sustainability Roadmap.
  • Embed Sustainability mindset within AP organization & community and within relevant communication, activations, business offerings.
  • Drive Digitalization Enhancement to support business performance and value added support and engagement with farmers.

Marketing Communication

  • Ensure delivery of Marketing plans & Communication Road map; clear and targeted product and crop campaigns, brand plans, calendars and marketing activations, in line with the overall business objectives through efficient & effective touchpoints (On ground/digital) in accordance with the business & marketing objectives for maximum impact.
  • MarCom team delivers based on business objectives, and sales priorities.
  • Guarantee that all marketing activities are aligned with the brand essence and vision and that all brand guidelines are implemented across online and offline platforms.
  • Ownership & management of annual marketing budget covering MarCom, Trade Marketing, Sustainability and Digitalization plans.

Market Intelligence

  • Provide & support the business with needed market intelligence including market insights & consumer trends, competitive landscape, & relevant updates to enhance business footprint & increase consumer conversion.
  • Implement, analysis and set actions from independent market research program or competitor monitoring to support development of consumer, channel and sales strategies.

Marketing Team Management

  • Leading & overseeing the Portfolio Management, MarCom, Technical Market Development, Sustainability & Digitalization functions within the MENILE Agricultural Solutions business.
  • Manage the Marketing Team by setting clear and measurable individual targets for direct reports/consultants.
  • Development & Coaching the Marketing Team to achieve full potential and drive personal success and business growth.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Minimum 3-5 years in a Leadership Role as Marketing Head/ Manager. Experience in the Agriculture industry is a major plus.
  • Hands on exposure, with the market dynamics having on ground presence with the end consumer and key stakeholders such as Distributors/ retailers/ wholesalers.
  • Proven track record in ability to driving business growth, building brands, delivering successful communication programs, innovation, and activations.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrates ownership.
  • Strategic Thinking and problem-solving techniques.
  • Striving for Achievement & result oriented.
  • Analytical Data-driven skills and an affinity for numbers.
  • Outstanding Presentation & Communication skills.
  • Strong Leadership & Managerial skills.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done.
  • Leading employees to success with demonstrated ability to develop, mentor and coach.
  • Proficient English and Arabic language skills, writing skills and High level in MS Office.
