As a Assistant Site Controller, you create chemistry by...

  • Supporting financial and operational activities on-site, reporting directly to the Seneca Site Controller.
  • Assisting with month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the Seneca site and its warehouse and tolling operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and supporting internal and external audits through accurate documentation.
  • Providing financial insights and analysis to the Site Leadership and Catalyst Business Teams, with a focus on fixed costs and product costing.
  • Collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Global Catalyst Business Unit teams to drive continuous improvement and enhance site profitability.
  • Coordinating annual physical inventory counts and preparing account reconciliations in accordance with internal controls and audit standards.

If you...

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CMA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Bring at least 3 years of experience in Controlling, Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain, with a strong track record in transactional record keeping and reconciliation.
  • Possess a solid understanding of management accounting principles, inventory control methods, and the financial impact of material flows, production, and shipments.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in IFRS standards, particularly in inventory valuation and financial instruments.
  • Showcase the ability to navigate complex processes and implement scalable financial structures.
  • Have hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP), along with advanced Excel and Power BI skills for analysis and reporting.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally while managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
