Leveraging your educational background in a technical discipline (Engineering preferred) and your manufacturing leadership experience, you will lead the development of the Cellasto plant team to ensure the execution of the production/business plan in a cost-effective, reliable, and safe manner.
Demonstrating your prior experience in manufacturing where you gained strong technical skills, you will establish tactical plant goals and objectives to ensure safe and reliable plant operation with a continuous improvement mindset.
You will be responsible for development and tracking of goals, coaching, and development of approximately 4 direct and 50+ indirect employees.
Your unwavering commitment to workplace safety will be evident as you will be responsible for driving EHS excellence and working with Cellasto production personnel to support and drive a behavior-based safety culture.
Your effective interpersonal skills will serve you well to provide technical and administrative guidance to operations, asset and maintenance, and the business in order to optimize the assets and achieve the production plans. You will lead by example and set the environment for taking risks within the organization by addressing constraints and enabling resources.
You will coach and develop personnel (salaried and hourly) into high performance teams that exemplify the culture and behaviors required by BASF. You will also rely on this experience as you participate in recruiting new employees and preparing and implementing succession plans. You will support establishing an environment that involves, trusts, and optimizes a diverse team and creates a vision that fosters a sense of common ownership.
You will drive best practices related to improving manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
You will partner with all Cellasto business functions to ensure that customer expectations towards supply reliability and product quality are met. You will also assist in monitoring & improving asset effectiveness in addition to the identification, preparation, and execution of capital investments in the plant.
Providing technical leadership, you will support the execution of the Cellasto Global Know-How Protection Concept. You will also collaborate in cross-functional global projects and business analyses.

Possess an Educational background in a technical discipline (Engineering preferred).
Hold 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, with strong technical and leadership skills.
Have proven ability to lead and develop teams in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Are experienced in setting tactical plant goals and driving continuous improvement, and also have a strong commitment to workplace safety and fostering a behavior-based safety culture.
Are able to provide technical and administrative guidance across operations and business functions.
Have experience in coaching and developing both salaried and hourly personnel into high-performance teams. Involvement in recruiting, succession planning, and creating inclusive, trust-based team environments.
Have experience in asset effectiveness monitoring and capital investment planning.
