Work as a DCS Officer according to the defined production processes, Production plan and Quality requirements.
Operate the DCS systems by following all process safety and other EHS guidelines.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
Coordinate and manage production in shift with consistent Quality and Safety as per the target.
Support shift in charge for continuous improvement of process and Quality control to reduce batch cycle times, increase in yields, increase operational ease.
Guiding a group of Operators in the plant continuously to ensure consistent product quality.
Follow the norms as per the departmental operating procedures of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 50001 Energy Management system.
Coordinate with field operators in shifts to ensure high standards of EHS and 5S.
Ensures compliance of BASF’s statutory requirements in shifts.
Ensuring compliance to TDS requirements while performing activities like tanker loading, unloading, labelling, and packing as and when required.
Ensure that discharge parameters of all the emissions in the plant are within the statutory limits and health and hygiene of the plant personnel is well maintained in the shifts.
Compliance to process safety and environmental protection code as per BASF Practice.
Ensure the documentation of Responsible care requirement on continual basis.
Coordinate with Shift in charge and Field operators related to plant activities.
Act as EHS representative in the shifts.
For emergency in plant, take a lead and coordinate with incident controller.
Job Requirements
Education in BE Chemical
Working Experience: 2-3 Years
Technical & Professional Knowledge in Chemical Process
