Engineer Requirements (m/w/d) Embedded System

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams and quality assurance to manage the entire requirements engineering process and ensure its continuous improvement
• Considering the requirements of the overall system, you work on the system requirements specification
• You maintain the requirements management databases (e.g., DOORS) and evaluate them conscientiously
• You participate in meetings and coordinate requirements with other departments, external partners, and customers
• You meticulously record actions, measures, and decisions regarding requirements management
• In addition, you support sales and the project management team in preparing offers

About You

• You have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable education
• You have several years of professional experience in hardware and software development in the automotive control units sector. You are also very knowledgeable in requirements engineering and therefore bring good skills in requirements analysis
• You are familiar with the methodology for structuring and implementing requirements databases and their practical application
• You have solid knowledge in the representation of processes and procedures using common modeling techniques (e.g., UML)
• You can demonstrate expertise in software development processes, especially according to Automotive SPICE
• Ideally, you have knowledge in the area of functional safety (ISO26262)
• Your profile is rounded off by good English language skills, both written and spoken
