Senior Engineer (m/w) - Embedded Software

Your Area of Responsibility

• Creation of system concepts for IQAir
• Requirements Engineering
• System design in close coordination with the electronics team
• Architecture and design of onboard firmware, programming in C/C++
• Integration of IoT technologies (Bluetooth & WiFi), interfaces and protocols
• Planning and execution of V&V at unit, integration, and system levels
• Collaboration with global development partners for cloud infrastructure & mobile applications
• Support for series production for component and EOL test systems

Your Competencies

• Completed degree in electrical engineering or computer science (FH/Uni/ETH)
• At least 5 years of practical experience in SW development of serial devices
• Senior expertise in programming embedded software in C/C++
• Ideally programming skills in Python
• Knowledge of various microcontroller families and communication protocols
• Profound experience in the integration of IoT technologies and smart home solutions
• Experience in collaboration with production/manufacturing
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
