About the Area

We are looking for a "Junior System Engineer Air Traffic Control Radar" at our Ulm location for the "Air Traffic Control Radar" area as soon as possible. The area is responsible for the development of air traffic control radars for civil and military use as well as their analysis and optimization according to customer wishes. Whether you are a graduate or have just started your professional career, we offer you the opportunity to bring your skills into our interdisciplinary development team. The broad range of tasks and the many interfaces to other disciplines result in a varied and exciting activity.

Your Tasks

• Collaboration in the analysis of customer requirements and creation of radar architecture concepts
• Collaboration in radar system design involving experts and specialist laboratories
• Development of models and simulations for validation and evaluation
• Implementation and execution of integration and acceptance tests
• Occasional business trips to customers worldwide

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a scientific or technical field of study (engineering, physics, mathematics, or similar)
• Ideally, initial experience in the development of hardware or software, e.g., in university projects, internships, hobbies, or similar
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Structured, conscientious, and analytical approach to work
• High level of initiative and commitment
• Good German and English language skills
