Our Digital R&D (DRD) organization creates digital solutions for chemical product and application development at Covestro. DRD integrates expertise in materials simulation and computational chemistry, laboratory automation, data science, quantum computing and high-performance computing. Data is at the core of everything we do in R&D and its importance will only grow with the rise of artificial intelligence.

We are therefore building up a Data Office within DRD to ensure a strategic approach to data handling across all Covestro R&D areas. It will serve the organization with data stewardship, data engineering and data governance expertise.
