About the Area

At HENSOLDT, more than 70 trainees and dual students start each year in over 20 different professions. For the start of training in September 2024, we are looking for dual students (m/f/d) in the field of Embedded Systems at the Ulm location.

Your Tasks

The study component at the Dual University in Friedrichshafen provides the theoretical knowledge for the practical components in the company, where you will gain direct insight into the work area of an Embedded Systems engineer. Theoretical and practical parts alternate regularly. A central role is played by the embedding of safety-critical systems in demanding software projects. You will acquire both basic natural and engineering science knowledge, as well as the most modern know-how, e.g., in programming, hardware and software codesign, and aerospace software engineering. In practice, as part of the team and depending on the progress of your studies, you will take on corresponding project tasks up to the bachelor's thesis. You are thus active in a responsible environment of the company and gain insights into project work, work processes, and the handling of engineering tasks. Qualified engineers and supervisors are always at your side. Afterward, you will have a variety of perspectives at HENSOLDT.

Your Profile

• General university entrance qualification or comparable degree
• Interest in physics and mathematics as well as in electrical engineering, IT, and software development
• Team skills, commitment, flexibility
• Good language skills in German and English
